Too Late to Apologize..

When I first came across the photos of the first snow in Uzbekistan, I felt an outlandish hit of nostalgia... for last winter and its freezing cold.... and  My Life. Not that it's the most dramatic scene of you are to encounter, but the one I will never forget and the one, which is, fortunately, way back in the day.

This video comes as a present from my friend and student Akmal Ishanqulov, who has a spectacular talent of singing and doing music. A quick note: all the credentials go to OneRepublic for the song and ENEMY for the video!

Trip to Portsmouth

Hello again. This time of yours sincerely is about a trip to Portsmouth. I felt very disappointed and hopeless when I was told that there was not ticket left for the day of my arrangement. I called friends, called the ticket offices all around London and finally found out they tickets were still available from the train station in Waterloo. Sighing from relief and joy, headed towards one of the port cities of UK. Following are the shots with another Chevening scholar from Uzbekistan - Dilfuza Nabiyeva, who is a very simple, beautiful but very smart young lady. She cooked a delicious food, "palov" - traditional Uzbek dish!
